Biomed Training
Hologic offers customers an opportunity to enroll your bio-medical engineers into one or more of our world class service training programs. Our training programs provide bio-medical engineers with the knowledge and confidence to be successful when servicing our Fluoroscan mini C-arm systems, by providing a quality balance of lecture, lab and hands-on experience.
The goal of the course is to prepare biomedical service personnel to maintain and repair the InSight, Fluoroscan III, Premier, and Premier Encore systems. The training is three (3) days in length and is conducted at our corporate headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts, USA. The course provides comprehensive instruction in location and function of system components, installation and calibration system operation, and problem isolation. All course materials are included. Class size is limited to enhance the learning experience. Approximately two-thirds of the training is hands-on.
Course attendees must have a basic knowledge of electronics, mechanical aptitude, a strong understanding of PCs. Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required. Experience servicing medical instruments and/or computers is helpful.
The course tuition fee includes all course materials and lunch on class days. Tuition payment (check or approved purchase order) is due at time of registration. Attendees are responsible for all other expenses, including transportation, meals, and lodging. Please note that course auditing and recording devices (audio or video) are not permitted.
